What is zkTube?
ZKTube is a project built and developed on layer2 using ZK-Rollup technology and zkSNARK principles. It can improve scalability by transferring batch transmission to a single transaction.
Its essence is to compress the user state on the chain and store it in a Merkle tree and transfer the user state change to the chain. At the same time, the zero-knowledge proof mechanism is used to ensure the correctness of the user state change process under the chain.
The cost of directly processing user status changes on the chain is relatively high, but only using the smart contract on the chain to verify the correctness of a zero-knowledge proof PROOF is relatively low. In addition, necessary transfer information will also be submitted to the contract along with the certificate, which is convenient for users to check accounts.
It needs to be emphasized that it is still submitted on the Ethereum chain, but part of the work on the chain is transferred to offline completion, so it will be as safe as Ethereum.
